Your Off-Grid Solar Array- For Under $300?

Smart Solar Box

Well, you’ll know from my last article that I’m really into eco-friendly rving. And maybe as a result you’re also considering how you can make your own rv adventures kinder to the environment by fixing some solar panels up onto your camper.

Build Your Own Solar Array

But…..hold your eco-friendly horses, buddy, because I’ve made a new discovery today which could save you a lot of money: yippee!! This is a build-your-own solar array powered by car batteries! “What?” I hear you cry,” Have you gone completely green bananas, Christine??”

Shrink Your Electricity Bill By 68%

Stick with me, my adventurous friend, because this is a solution that the inventor claims can shrink your electricity bill by up to 68%. Basically, this product, which can be bought today for $1, is a video course which shows you how to build a simple solar array powered by car batteries.

Avoid Winter Power Outages

Globally we’re all suddenly facing eye-watering bills for our utilities, as well as gloomy mumblings about possible power cuts this winter.

You may be smart enough to already have an array of solar panels fixed onto the roof of your home, but when I considered it, the outlay was too expensive.

Its inventor, mechanic Ryan Tanner from Milwaukee, claims that his simple, portable solar panel set up can shrink your electricity bill by 68%!

That claim, at a time when we’re all struggling with eye-watering electricity bills, certainly made me prick up my ears and read more. Ryan’s Smart Solar Box only takes up a couple of square feet of space, and can easily be stored in your car or rv to power your appliances on your outdoor excursions. Instead of guzzling down your propane supply, the Smart Solar Box can be used to power from small radios to big refrigerators, computers- in fact every electrical appliance in your whole house.

Curious? I know I was when I read about this product. Last winter, here in the UK, we were hit by Storm Arwen, which took out power lines all over the country. Some homes were left without power, in freezing temperatures, for two weeks. Our own house is heated by electric, and we were cut off for five miserable days: left without the ability to keep warm, cook or light our home. It was grim.

Now with climate change causing frequent and more violent storms each winter and the global energy shortages we are experiencing, I am feeling that the Smart Solar Box could present a viable lifeline for us all- both in our rv’s and in our homes, too.

In essence, Ryan Tanner’s product is a video course, which explains in step by step videos how you can construct your own solar array for a little over $200, using components that are easily sourced locally or online. He says that The Smart Solar Box can be constructed within three or four hours, is perfectly safe and legal, and needs no kind of electrical knowledge or expertise to create.

Once constructed, the Smart Solar Box needs very little in the way of maintenance, and the solar panels will charge up the car batteries to run your appliances even when it’s cloudy. Therefore, when others are experiencing power outages and massive electricity bills, you simply won’t.
